This summer I've held a "drop in day" where people had a go at glass painting - collecting their glass next day after firing. Great fun, lovely company and interesting variety of work.
Because I love the effect of "mono printing" and its a nice way of playing with ideas I held a course to share this way of working, with others!
Fiona's feedback included the following;
"I absolutely loved the day! I didn’t really know what I was coming to and was a bit nervous that it might be too difficult for someone as inexperienced as me - but I soon got stuck in and had loads of creative fun! You were so welcoming and encouraging that any nervousness evaporated as soon as we got started. I loved that the first thing you did was send us foraging for interesting items from your garden!"
I also held a beginners course to "glass surface decoration" where painting, silver staining, engraving and abrading the glass were all explored with the addition of coloured glass.
